A call out to all you baby boomers – that is those of you born between 1946 and 1964. Let’s face it, no one taught us to save for our future and WOW, those golden days are quickly approaching.
It’s time to realize:
- We (I’m a baby boomer too) need more money to enjoy retirement than previous Generations needed
- We are living longer
- Social Security is not a retirement plan – it is and always has been – a supplement
- Social Security is changing – drastically
- Most of us will work longer and thus not experience a retirement dream
The change in our economy is having an effect on us. If you have suffered a loss in your 401K plan or stock portfolio, you know exactly what I am referring to. Can you ever consider retirement as an option or will you have to consider an after retirement – part time job? Keep in mind that Social Security is only a supplement. With the cost of food, fuel, medicine and other necessities, do you have a plan that will provide income to you for as long as you live.
Call to learn about a plan that you cannot outlive.
